We've gathered together the most recent uploads of a few of our favourite wildlife artists, for "4 artists in 4 weeks".

1. Mariery Young Mariery, owner of Mezclao Studio in Hastings, UK is constantly sharing brand new, colourful pattern prints, the majority focusing on wildlife and nature. Tropical fish, rainforest birds and sharks have been the subjects of her most recent work, after just finishing up a '100 plants in 100 days' project. - marieryyoung

2. MaryandtheLocks Rotterdam based artist Marianne Lock has just finished this 40cm x 60cm work called 'The Animal Poster' or 'Dierenposter' in Dutch, which features 32 of the finest animal kingdom icons. You can view the full sized piece and purchase a print of the original watercolour via her Etsy shop - http://etsy.me/2q5rwit or visit her at - @maryandthelocks on Instagram

3. Melissa Boardman Melissa, 'illustrator of birds and other naturey things (but mostly birds)' as she says is from Wellington, New Zealand. Her website says that, "Most New Zealanders don't know much about our most rare birds, and Melissa's aim is to raise a little bit of awareness of the lesser known birds by sharing photographs and information about them on social media. Melissa is deeply concerned with New Zealand's native birds fight for survival. Many native birds have populations only in the hundreds, and sadly very few are plentiful. The most well-known birds have become iconic, and although Melissa embraces the popularity of such birds, she chooses not to overlook the rarer birds, that may not necessarily be cute or friendly, but are special and unique in their own way." 4. Anne Conron Anne, like Melissa is concerned about the rarer wildlife native to where she lives. She is a linocut artist from Australia who has a special eye for muttonbirds and the spotted quoll... "The spotted quoll is endangered on the mainland of Australia but still doing ok in Tassie. It's a small nocturnal carnivore, chook pen raider, and renowned scrounger/thief at campsites in national parks. The background shows the muttonbirds plunging to earth to feed their chicks."
