Amidst the tragedy of civilian deaths during the ongoing Battle of Mosul, bear Lula and lion Simba have been found scarcely surviving as the last two animals at Motazah Al-Morour Zoo. Found in a state of starvation by Four Paws vet, Dr Amir Khalil, who learnt that Simba's parents had both died in horrific circumstances, along with almost 50 animals of the zoo. With a host of successful missions behind them, the full Four Paws team are on site today, negotiating and working as hard as they can to find a long term solution for these two. The charity have already turned around the lives of dozens of ex-captive animals and provided amazing, peaceful homes for animals to live the rest of their live free of harm, so we are sitting tight hoping that Lula and Simba can receive the same help today. If you can spare a donation for their mission, please do so here: https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/6098#/DonationDetails Follow live on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/fourpaws.org/?fref=ts Good luck today team.
